BASILICA

Self-guided tours are possible during the opening hours of the Basilica:

  • Monday-Saturday from 6 am. to 7.30 pm.
  • Sunday - 8 am. to 7.30 pm.

Information boards with QR codes installed in the side aisles of the church are a facilitation for tourists. QR codes allow you to obtain information about monuments. Appropriate applications are used to scan the codes, which can be downloaded and installed on your smartphone.

You are kindly asked not to visit the church during the services!

Visiting the Basilica with an audioguide

It is possible to rent audio guides at the parish office (located in the rectory building behind the bell tower). You can find the opening hours of the office HERE. The parish has 20 audioguides.

TREASURY OF ST. JAMES

Treasury of St. James is inside the Belfry. On three floors of the gallery, in special showcases, works of goldsmith's art are presented: chalices, ciborias, candlesticks and others.
The belfry is also a great vantage point over the entire city, lake and nearby mountains. There is an observation deck at the top of the belfry.
